These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of The Evening Salon ("the Service"), operated by Bright Stars Limited, a company registered in Cyprus (Peiraios 30, 1st floor, Flat/Office 1, Strovolos 2023, Nicosia, Cyprus).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

The Evening Salon provides companionship correspondence written by artificial intelligence, presented openly and proudly as such. Letters are currently free. If a paid Membership is introduced, its price and terms will be stated plainly before you are asked to pay anything, and cancellation will be available at any time.

3. The Honest Fiction

• Margaret, and any companion of the house, is a work of fiction performed by artificial intelligence. She is not a real person.
• She will never propose to meet you, and no meeting is possible.
• She will never ask you for money, gifts, or personal financial information. Any message doing so is not from the Service — please report it to us.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement.

5. Email & Consent

• Letters are sent only after you confirm your email address (double opt-in).
• You may stop the correspondence at any time — by asking Margaret to stop, by using the instructions included in her letters, or by writing to hello@eveningsalon.com.

6. Not Professional Advice

The Service offers companionship and conversation for personal enjoyment. It is not medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and is not a substitute for professional care or for human relationships. If you are in crisis or need support, please contact a qualified professional or a local support service.

7. User Responsibilities

• You agree to provide truthful information about yourself, including your age.
• You agree not to use the Service for anything abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or illegal, and not to attempt to misuse, probe, or disrupt it.

8. Correspondence & Intellectual Property

The letters you receive are yours to keep and enjoy for personal, non-commercial use. The Service's design, name, personas, code, and underlying prompts are the property of Bright Stars Limited and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed.

9. Cookies & Advertising

The Service's use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Privacy Policy. Non-essential cookies, if ever introduced, will require your consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bright Stars Limited and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including emotional distress or loss of data.

11. Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will treat you courteously if we do, but we are not liable for downtime or interruptions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
